Reiki (pronounced Ray-key) is a Japanese energy healing system, based on the idea that everything and everyone is made of energy. ‘Rei’ is soul, and ‘ki’ is vital energy, translating Reiki as universal life force energy. Ki or qi is the vital energy that sustains us, influencing all aspects of our being: mental, physical, emotional and energetic.
When we lack vital essence, we become more easily unwell on all levels. Reiki works to restore balance of qi in the mind, body and energy.
