Reiki helps with stress

The feeling of stress is a common one for many of us. Whether it be deadlines at work, family pressure, or COVID19, we are all familiar with this feeling of pressure and fatigue. If you’re looking for something to help, Reiki helps with stress.

Stress is a leech

Stress can be like a leech stuck to our leg, sucking our blood and life force energy from us. The more we try to push forward and carry on, the more our mind and body tighten and tense up. If we don’t find a way to deal with the stress, there is a strong likelihood that eventually our mind or body (or both!) will collapse and we will end up sick and burnt out.

YOU are responsible for your health

Taking time out often feels like the last thing you’re able to do when work is overwhelming and there is constant pressure, however by not taking time out to recharge your batteries, you are simply on the fast track to illness. It is not just important, but vital, that you look after yourself. Only YOU are responsible for your health and wellbeing, so it is up to you to monitor yourself, and make choices to take care of your mental and physical health. You cannot rely on your partner, your boss, or your friends and family to support you, if you are not supporting yourself first.

Become aware of how you’re feeling

So what can you do to reduce stress and look after yourself? Firstly become aware of how you’re really feeling. Check in with yourself. How is your physical body feeling and functioning? Do you have plenty of energy to bounce through your day, or do you feel like every day is struggle town? How is your mental state? Is your mind clear and focused, or do you experience brain fog, mental headaches or migraines?

Reiki helps with stress

When you’re more aware of how you’re feeling, you can take steps to reduce stress. Take some time during your day to go outside for a walk in the fresh air. Get some sun, drink plenty of water, and pay close attention to your nutrition. Eat plenty of fruit and vegetables, foods that will nourish you and give you energy. Exercise and move your body daily. Do things that spark joy in you, and take time out to be creative and social. Bring more indoor plants to your workspace and home as they have a calming and restorative effect. Book in a Distant Reiki healing to support your mind, body and energy in a positive way.

Fill up your cup!

The biggest thing is setting boundaries for yourself, and only you can do this. Make time to play, to cook, to have breaks and enjoy life! Make the decision to put your mind, body and emotional health first. Fill up your own cup, so that you will have plenty of energy for everything else.

Book in for a Reiki healing to help with stress

If you are experiencing high stress, burnout, fatigue, and feeling the emotional effects of lockdown, I urge you to book in for a Reiki healing sooner rather than later. Don’t wait – get the support you need now. Not only will you feel better faster, you will have more energy, more clarity and more focus for the other important things in your life.
