Stop and reflect

It’s not often that we stop and reflect on where we’re at, what our goals are, and whether we are still on track. It’s now half way through the year, so it’s the perfect time for some self reflection!

Journalling

For the last 18 months our collective focus has been on surviving and getting through Covid. But as time keeps marching on, we might start to realise that if we don’t start paying closer attention to our life, life will pass us by. This could be a great opportunity to check in with yourself! If this sounds good to you, grab your journal, get comfy, and create some space to think.

9 questions to ask yourself:

  1. What have I accomplished so far this year? What am I proud of?
  2. Where has my focus been? Is this still serving me?
  3. What have I learned about myself?
  4. What have I learned about my relationships?
  5. How is my health? What can I do to improve it even more?
  6. Overall, 0-10 (0=terrible, 10=amazing), where am I at?
  7. What would take me just 1 point higher on this scale?
  8. What am I grateful for?
  9. Name ONE goal I would like to work towards over the next 6 months?

Mindset coaching

We really have two choices. We can let ourselves drift through life, on the current of whatever is going on around us. Or, we can pick up the paddles, and start to focus our attention on the direction we would like to go.

There will always be things outside of our control. However what is within our control is how we respond to external events, and what we do with it. This is where mindset coaching comes in. If you are finding yourself distracted and stuck, and can’t seem to find a way forward, book in for a coaching session. Sometimes we all need some support to clear our head, refocus, and get clear on our goals again.
