I remember the first time I ever had an energy healing. I was 19 years old, studying at University, and my boyfriend’s stepdad was passionate about energy healing. One day he suggested doing an energy healing to help me in the lead up to exams. I was curious, and was practicing a lot of yoga at the time, so I gave it a go. The feeling afterwards was incredible! I remember feeling so tired at first, then full of energy afterwards. My head was clear and I felt lighter yet more grounded. The memory of that feeling has stayed with me ever since.

Over the years I’ve had many different types of energy healings, from acupuncture to kinesiology, to Reiki and everything in between. They are all amazing, and every time I have a session I am always reminded of how incredible our bodies really are. We are after all simply energy, but we often forget that as our brains need something tangible and solid to hold onto to make sense of the world.
