Reiki 3a – Deepening Your Spiritual Path

Reiki is a journey of returning home to yourself—a path of deepening presence, inner harmony, and connection with the universal life force that flows through all things, including ourselves. 

For many, Reiki Level 1 is the beginning of this reconnection, opening the door to self-healing and energy awareness. Reiki Level 2 then strengthens this connection, introducing sacred symbols and allowing students to channel Reiki for others. But for those who feel called to go deeper—not just in technique, but in essence—Reiki Level 3a (Reiki Master Practitioner) is the next step.

My personal journey with Reiki

When I first found Reiki, I was immediately hooked. It changed me on a level I couldn’t reach on my own. I still remember my very first 15 minute Reiki healing! I was in the line to receive a free 15 minute massage at a new wellness clinic open day, but the line was very long. Suddenly another practitioner walked out and was offering 15 minute Reiki healings. I thought, why not? That initial healing is etched into my memory because of the way I felt afterwards. It was like the energy reached into my soul, and the depth of healing that occurred is honestly very hard to explain with words. 

Reiki took me on a new life path

I completed my Reiki 1, then Reiki Level 2, and I started Melbourne Reiki & Wellness almost immediately afterwards. I had already been practicing Reiki with friends after Reiki Level 1. This put me in good stead, as it was the physical practice I needed to go hand in hand with the deep soul knowing this is what I was meant to do in this lifetime. I was a healer – and this was the path forward. From that day onwards, life moved in a very different direction! I completed Reiki 3a, and I just knew I would go on to do my Reiki Mastership and share Reiki with the world. When I look back now, my journey was something I will never forget, and each level of Reiki provided the answers to which I didn’t even know I had been seeking.

So what is Reiki 3a?

Reiki Level 3a is a one-day sacred initiation for those ready to deepen their relationship with Reiki. It’s not about mastering others—it’s about stepping into mastery within yourself.

In this intimate training, you’ll receive the Reiki Master attunement. This is a powerful energetic initiation that aligns you with the Usui Master symbol. This symbol supports spiritual growth, expansion of consciousness, and deeper levels of healing. It also amplifies your connection to Reiki, shifting your practice into a higher and more potent frequency.

Not just for professional healers

This day is deeply nourishing—not just as a practitioner, but as a person. Reiki 3a is not only for those who wish to become professional healers. In fact, many students are drawn to Reiki 3a simply to deepen their self-practice, to work with Reiki as a form of daily devotion, spiritual connection, and personal healing.

What’s the Difference Between Reiki 3a and Reiki Mastership?

Reiki Level 3a is a bridge—a stepping stone into deeper mastery. While Reiki 3a attunes you to the Reiki Master symbol, it does not equip you to teach Reiki to others or give attunements. However, Reiki 3a is a turning point, and you’ll find you will drop more deeply into your own practice. Your own internal energy will shift. You may start to notice Reiki starts to become something you practice daily – not just in meditation or self-Reiki, but in everyday moments too.

Reiki Mastership – a spiritual journey

The last level of Reiki training is my 12-month Reiki Mastership Mentorship. Reiki Mastership is not just about becoming a teacher—it’s a year-long spiritual journey. It is a commitment to your own awakening. A chance to be held, guided, and witnessed as you continue to evolve into the most aligned, authentic version of yourself.
